Emily Brand

Emily is a consultant solicitor at Ayesha Vardag Solicitors. She read English Literature at St John's College, Cambridge then completed the CPE (law conversion course) with commendation and LPC (solicitor's qualification) with distinction at the College of Law, London. She did her training contract at Manches, London and Oxford, and remained in their matrimonial law departments post-qualification.

Emily has recently returned from Germany where she lectured on the English common law system to undergraduates and the Berlin judiciary at the Universities of Berlin and conducted academic legal research, particularly in the field of pre-nuptial agreements. She also participated in her own family law case under German law.

Emily speaks fluent German and workable French.
